Roxy Pignanelli
Roxy is a Candidate for Pueblo County Commissioner, daughter of Lucy Flores, a cleaning lady, mother of five, from Villanueva, New Mexico and Rocco Pignanelli, an immigrant’s son that served in WWII, Korea and Pearl Harbor. I am a widow with two beautiful sons. My family is diverse, hardworking, and lifelong democrats. Commissioner responsibilities are vast and demanding overseeing Water, Land, Labor, Social Services, and so much more. Passion and fiscal management simply aren’t enough fill the seat. My life’s work has given me the unparalleled experience and skill set to hit the ground running. I spent 20 years managing multimillion dollar arts organizations, culminating in a faculty position at Yale University teaching graduate students entertainment business management and over the past 22 years in Pueblo.
