Saul Martinez

A former army Infantryman and Purple Heart Recipient, originally from Southern California, Saul Martinez made Bozeman, MT home for his wife and two kids almost ten years ago shortly after participating in a Warriors & Quiet Waters Foundation (WQW) Fishing Experience. WQW guides veterans and their loved ones to thrive and find peace, meaning and purpose through fly fishing and other inspirational activities in nature. Since being wounded and leaving the Army, Saul has graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Montana State University, was a subject of President George W. Bush in “Portraits of Courage,” a George W. Bush Institute Veteran Leadership Scholar, and remains an active advocate for veteran well-being nationally. He’s also dabbled in acting, co-starring with professional golfer Jordan Spieth in a major network commercial for AT&T. Saul enjoys any time he spends with his family and friends. He is currently a brand ambassador for the Parsons Extreme Golf (PXG) brand, an avid fly-fisherman, amateur calligrapher, and a so-so ukulele player. Saul is a big fan of empathy, compassion and thoughtful action. He is proud to be the Chief Program Officer of Warriors & Quiet waters because it is a direct line to impact our nation’s combat veterans and their loved ones.
