Kandra Horne
Kandra Horne, DNP, APRN, WHNP-BC, is a doctorate level women’s health care nurse practitioner who currently serves as Medical Science Liaison at Epic Sciences, Oncology Unit. Dr. Horne has over 20 years of healthcare experience, with more than 17 years specializing in solid tumors comprising of breast cancers with the medical oncology team at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory Healthcare. Kandra gained advanced responsibilities during her tenure by leveraging advanced medical and scientific expertise to support clinical trials, drive medical affairs, coordinate research and development initiatives, and optimize care models. Appointed as Lead Breast Clinical Team APP, she collaborated and engaged with multiple disciplines that include advanced practitioners, nurses, oncologists, pharmacists, industry leaders, and clinical educators to strengthen health outcomes for diverse patient base. Dr. Horne received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tuskegee University, Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Women’s Healthcare from Emory University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus in Healthcare Leadership from Emory University.
