Terry P. Wilson

Terry P. Wilson earned his degree in English with a Journalism Major. He then became a reporter and photographer and taught English at Canada College. The next year he took over the journalism department while his good friend wrote his third book. He was also a manager editor of two local weeklys but joined an S&L as a publicist when the CEO offered to triple his sales. Terry was a publicist, then a public information officer for the 43-branch S&L. He produced a four-color 24-page quarterly magazine, writing the stories, taking the photographs and designing the publication. Later, he was offered a job as a loan agent when he has spent the last 35 years. He has served as a newsletter editor countless times; served on the BOD; Endowment Board; and as Club President. He travelled most of the world with his loving wife until she passed away in 2021 from pancreatic cancer. He has always loved writing poetry and short stories until his 3 trips to Africa on water installation projects. He wrote his first book, Miracle in the Mara – releasing in 2022. He has two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and three grandsons. He also has three sisters and a cousin and four grand nephews with his wife.
