Wendy O'Shaunessy
Wendy O’Shaughnessy has over 25 years of Healthcare Operations, Regulation, Policy, Revenue, and Patient Advocacy experience in the Veterans Hospital, private clinics, hospitals and most recently the pharmaceutical industry. Eighteen of those years were specialized in Oncology. Her journey was not what she expected, and she found bringing a three-pronged skill set in Informatics, Business and Regulatory created a niche for her in the complex arena of Healthcare for Cancer patients. She currently works for a pharmaceutical company working with new radiopharmaceutical drugs and policy. Her motivation has always driven her to need to help the patients receive care with the least financial impact possible and she has found after decades working the layers that policy is an overreaching umbrella that makes the rest of the down stream processes work better to serve the patient from a cost perspective.
