Natalia Valevska

Natalia Valevska is an Interpreter, translator, Community Resiliency Model teacher, resiliency advocate, life-loving woman, mother, and a proud Ukrainian. After graduating from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Bachelor’s in Language and Literature, Master’s in Journalism), Natalia worked for several years as a reporter and editor in daily and monthly printed media. She started translating books, eventually becoming one of the best book translators in Ukraine. Her most significant translations into Ukrainian include Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes and Dreams from My Father by Barack Obama. Since 2019, Natalia has spread SEE Learning in Ukraine as an official translator of social, emotional, and ethical learning into Ukrainian. Since February 2022, Natalia has become actively involved in spreading and supporting resiliency skills among Ukrainian teachers, parents, humanitarian workers, and her friends. Natalia has translated the Community Resiliency Model into Ukrainian. She advocates resiliency as a vital quality for individuals and communities amid current adversities in Ukraine and for the future revitalization of the country.
