Lyonard Biography: Lyonard Miszkiewicz is an Amsterdam-based design director. He graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2015 with a master’s degree in Womenswear Knitwear. He was also educated in Fashion Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art. Lyonard established himself in the fashion industry at an early age and has worked for global brands such as Raf Simmons, Hackett of London, and Alexander McQueen across both mens and womenswear. The German-Polish designer headed master tailor Orschel-Read in design direction and knitwear. His eponymous label, originally based in London, was showcased at multiple fashion weeks and enjoyed success among designers and celebrity clients.  Lyonard’s sense for the arts and style was ingrained in him as a child via his mother, a renowned fine art painter. To maintain creative freedom, Lyonard enjoys collaborating on visual arts projects and installations, and has recently begun to explore olfactory designs to further blend the boundaries between creative mediums. Lyonard’s work is a narrative on social encounters. Always aiming to evoke the zeitgeist, he creates pieces ranging from the boundary-pushing avant garde to everyday clothes designed to be lived in.
