Nancy Perpall

Nancy Perpall began her career as a critical care nurse working in the Emergency Room and the Intensive Care Unit. While practicing nursing, she often wrote articles published in nursing journals and co-authored a textbook, Advanced Concepts in Clinical Nursing (J.B. Lippincott, 1974). Nancy loved nursing but became frustrated when the focus shifted less to patient care and more to documentation and computerizing the care. So she left nursing and entered Villanova Law School. After graduating, Nancy practiced defense malpractice until the law firm she worked for lost the contract. Nancy was given divorce files to work on from her first day on the job and told, “This is woman’s work.” She was the Chair of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania’s Domestic Relations Rules Committee for six years. Nancy’s debut novel, Around Which All Things Bend, is available on Amazon, in Barnes & Noble, and wherever books are sold.
