Judith Florendo

Judith (she/her/hers) is the former owner and director of Florendo Physical Therapy in Chicago from 2000-2017. In the fall of 2017, she co-founded Link Physical Therapy with Suzanne Badillo, right in their “backyard.” She received her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the University of Illinois Chicago, and her clinical doctorate at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. She contributes to various multidisciplinary scholarly projects and research, has been a member of professional boards, and participates in clinical education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Physical Therapy and Human Movement. Clinical interests include female sexual function after cancer treatment, and the missing pieces between “pre-hab,” rehab, and fitness. Judith is a co-creator of the Total Control Exercise Program for pelvic health and fitness. She is currently a clinical associate in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the University of Chicago. Non-professional life includes walking, by the lake with her husband, and Milo, the amazing boxer, cooking, and a variety of fun fitness activities. A life-long learner, she is a forever student of Brazilian music, dance, and percussion.
