Tina Santos
Tina Santos joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island in 2016, and was in full control of fundraising and community development. While receiving new grant money for projects, Tina coordinated 7 significant agency fundraisers. Tina took a job as a site-based program manager because she wanted to engage with children and families in the community more directly. In this role, she was in charge of the agency's Beyond School Walls program as well as many School Based Mentoring programs. New program connections, such as one with the Hasbro Toy Company and the Potter Burns School in Pawtucket, were launched in large part thanks to Tina. After its first year, the program more than doubled under Tina's supervision.
