Jim Marggraff is a serial inventor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, speaker, and an energized dad and husband. Jim founded and co-founded six Silicon Valley technology companies, and has now founded his seventh, Kinoo.com, already receiving awards from the top annual award from AARP Innovation Labs and CES AR Award. His companies and inventions include fast-packet switching, Stratacom (co-founder), the Odyssey Atlasphere at Explore Technologies (co-founder) the LeapFrog LeapPad (co-founder), the Livescribe Smartpen (founder), and eye-tracking technology, Eyefluence (co-founder) that he recently sold to Google. He holds 56 issued patents, is an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, one of MIT’s top 150 inventors, and was declared a Father of the Year by the National Father’s Day Council.
