Andrea J. Carelli is Senior Vice President and Director of Client and Community Relations for PNC Bank, Pittsburgh. She reports directly to the President and has the overall responsibility for client and community relations as well as all customer and employee events in the Pittsburgh market. Carelli joined the bank in 1987, and has held management positions in corporate communications, employee recognition programs, event planning, internal and external marketing as well as community development. She serves as a member of the PNC Foundation Board. During the last 25 years, she continues to have responsibility for managing the marketing partnership for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as all other relationships with non-profit groups throughout Western Pennsylvania. Her experience with fund raising and public relations spans over 35 years, and she has been active in raising millions of dollars for various groups including The American Ireland Fund, Animal Friends, the United Jewish Federation, Pirates Charities, The Salvation Army, St. Vincent College, among others. A strong advocate for the awareness of domestic violence, Carelli is a spokeswoman for this cause, and established “The Angel’s Fund” for the Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh. The fund provides financial support and personal items for the hundreds of women and children who use the services of the Shelter each year. She was recently named a Woman of Influence by the Pittsburgh Business Times.
