Retired Partner IBM Security, Independent Security Intelligence and Operations Competency Leader Mr. Dwyer is a Global IBM Security Partner with more than 500 clients across a wide range of industries including: Financial Services, Utilities, Transportation, Consumer/Industrial products, government and defense industries. Mr. Dwyer has worked with companies around the world to develop business driven Enterprise Security Strategies, implemented programs to establish and/or transform more than 300 Security Operations Centers (SOC’s), SOC Strategy, SOC Design, Implementation, Operation and Optimization. In the last 3 years, Mr. Dwyer has pioneered IBM’s work on Risk Analytic Centers (Fusion Centers) with select clients in Europe, North America and South America. The Risk Analytic Center Work features a strong business case with an average savings of more than €1M per use case. Extensive research and development in conjunction with IBM’s Research Lab and Watson research programs including advanced security analytical methods and techniques using both SIEM and big data analytical tools to identify, prevent and minimize business impact and financial loss due to cyber threats, cyber crime and cyber fraud.
