Brooklyn Walker
Brooklyn Walker is a 16-year-old student with the Insight Cyber program through the Pittsburgh Public School District. She is in the 10th grade. Brooklyn has participated in the Bender Student Leaders Program, and she will be completing the Advanced Student Leaders Program sponsored by the Bender Leadership Academy. These programs cultivate skills in public speaking, initiative, leadership, advocacy, and citizenship. The non-profit organization prepares high school students with disabilities for the world of work while also preparing them to be advocates for themselves and others with disabilities.
