Fausto Bermúdez

Fausto Bermúdez

Fausto Bermúdez comes from a family of 5 generations of ranchers. He was raised on and off the ranch, getting to know the city and the country at the same time. His grandfather was a successful businessman who was involved in ranching but never saw it as a source of livelihood for his family. When Fausto told him that he wanted to dedicate himself to cattle raising his grandfather told him: "Cattle raising will not give you a living, it is just a hobby”. Fausto decided to turn around those words. He made his life purpose to educate the agricultural sector because regenerative agriculture is a profitable business and generates wealth for the people. He became an adviser for cattle ranches covering more than 550,000 hectares in Mexico and the United States. But something was still missing, "knowing how to manage cattle and plant crops is very different from knowing how to run a business that involves cattle and planting crops". He heard this phrase at Ranching4Profit school in Dallas, Tx. In this school, he learned the general principles that apply to any business including regenerative ranching. He was ready to create the change he was looking for. Fausto and his wife decided to bring these principles to Mexico and the entire Spanish-speaking population. They see the need to share knowledge and to help each other, hand in hand with nature.
