Rhonda Rodgers

Dr. Rhonda Rodgers is a stress researcher, meditator, yogini, and seeker of joy. She, along with Vanessa Kettering, PhD, are founding partners at Way of Well-Being, a Los Angeles based consulting firm specializing in training and mentoring for those experiencing symptoms of chronic and traumatic stress. Her research in mental and emotional self-management (MESM) addresses the biological need for nervous system regulation as well as contemplative training to experience the body-mind as a path of healing. Rhonda’s interest in contemplative practices such as Buddhism and Ashtanga Yoga, have informed a collaborative study on the long-term effects of contemplative practice in business professionals. Likewise, her quest for authenticity in both personal and professional life inspires her theoretical work in the importance of authenticity in both businesses and businesspeople. Rhonda holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, a PhD in Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, a Certificate in Nalanda Buddhist Philosophy from Tibet House, Delhi, and is a registered 200-hour yoga instructor (RYT). Rhonda’s forthcoming book Where the Magic Happens: A Journey to Inner Space chronicles her personal journey of self-discovery and resiliency building. She continues to refine and conduct research on the efficacy of the MESM program and teaches these methods at California Polytechnic University Pomona and the University of La Verne.
