Adrienne Adler-Neal
Adrienne Adler-Neal is a fourth year psychiatry resident at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. She completed the combined MD/PhD program at Wake Forest School of Medicine where her doctoral work focused on examining the biological and neural mechanisms underlying mindfulness-based pain relief. Prior to that, she obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Master of Public Health from the University of Memphis. She is currently developing and testing a brief meditation-based intervention for the treatment of depression. In her future psychiatric practice, she plans to incorporate novel psychotherapeutic approaches, holistic medicine, coaching, and traditional medicine to help her patients obtain optimal mental, physical, and spiritual/emotional health.
