Heather Tom

While only 15 years old, Heather booked the coveted role of Victoria Newman on The Young and the Restless. A year later, she earned her first Daytime Emmy. In 1999, Heather repeated the honor, winning her second Emmy award. When the nominations were announced in the spring of 2000, Heather and her brother, David, became the first brother and sister to ever be nominated in the same year at the Daytime Emmys. Since that time, Heather has gone on to become the most nominated actress under the age of 35 in the Television Academy's history, receiving 9 consecutive Emmy nominations. In total, Heather has received 12 nominations for an Emmy award. Heather describes acting as "the feeling of losing the audience for a moment and truly becoming connected with the scene and the character is absolutely incredible". Heather also works very closely with several AIDS service organizations such as Project Angelfood, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and AIDS Project Los Angeles.
