Erin Kennedy

Erin Kennedy has been working with youth for over 20 years and serving as the Boys and Girls Club of the North Valley Case Manager for the past five. Hired immediately post-Camp Fire to support the hundreds of displaced and impacted families within the organization she and her mighty team of Disaster Case Managers were able to secure millions in funding to support rebuild and recovery efforts for families in the community. She has been instrumental in supporting hundreds of families while they navigate post-fire issues from temporary housing, meeting basic needs, navigating insurance and government forms to fully rebuilding homes. She is an accomplished grant writer and runs passion programming by teaching dance to club kids. Erin has been a Community Resiliency Model teacher since the COVID pandemic and is passionate about helping the whole individual create systemic change and caring for their emotional and mental health. She sits on our local Student Attendance Review Boards and is a part of the Diversion and Restorative Justice programs through Butte County Probation Department. She has supported youth who profess Suicidal Ideation as a Care Team Coach and most recently graduated from the LEAD program through North Valley Community Foundation. She believes that all people are valuable and strives to create a better future for our younger generations by creating change, breaking cycles, and building long-lasting relationships with vulnerable people and populations.
