Chris Eklund
Chris Eklund began his career in law enforcement in 1999. He has worked in several areas of his agency, including patrol, narcotics and problem-oriented policing. He is currently assigned to the SWAT team as the Training Coordinator and a Team Leader. Eklund has been on SWAT for 21 years and has been in a full-time role for the last nine years. He has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, and completed the NTOA Command College in 2020. Eklund served in the U.S Army National Guard from 1992-2002 before separating as a staff sergeant.
