Dr. Larry L. Anderson Jr.
Dr. Anderson serves as the Board Chairman for Community Forgiveness and Restoration, an initiative designed to battle against Recidivism. The Chairman of Community Ethics and Justice Coalition an initiative to move the BRN from Racial Reconciliation to Racial Restoration. The Chairman of Mansion Hope a non-profit to reach the people of Strawberry Mansion in order to promote dignity, peace and a flourishing community through acts of service by cultivating opportunities for healing and development. Dr. Anderson is the co-author of the book ‘Ask Me Why I’m Not In Church’ released in June 2019 on Westbow Press. And the Author of The Pastors’ Diaries released in July 2022. Dr. L.A. is the founder and host of Athens Avenue the Podcast birthed in Spring 2023. From November 2020 to January 2023 Dr. Anderson served as The National President of The State Directors’ of Evangelism for the Southern Baptist Convention. Dr. Anderson serves on Citizen Advisory Committee, for the Philadelphia Department of Corrections to ensure equal justice for all communities. Dr. Anderson also serves as Christ Ambassador for his chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. Dr. Anderson has dedicated his life to becoming a workmen approved by God, who can correctly handle the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15). Larry L. Anderson Jr. is a North Philadelphia native who now resides in Glenside, PA. He is blessed with a wonderful wife, Kim and three beautiful children, Marquis, Darius, & Gabrielle.
