Emmanuelle "Em" Lacroix, based in Paris, is the Senior Partnership Manager for the CSOD Foundation and DisasterReady.org in Europe. She is a bilingual French/English Talent Management practitioner and Partnership Development manager known for her strong people-centered skills and expertise in capacity-strengthening. During her early years in London, Em has cultivated a wealth of international operational experience and a deep commitment to quality and accountability, where she collaborated with renowned INGOs such as the British Red Cross, Save the Children, and the CHS Alliance. Em has dedicated her efforts to driving performance improvements in non-profit organizations and contributing to the enhancement of individuals' capacities in diverse and complex global environments. Her primary focus is on promoting and positioning DisasterReady.org as a pivotal learning resource, equipping individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to support their communities in times of crisis and beyond. Em's approach revolves around workplace harmony rather than achieving work-life balance, with the aim of fostering a world where work enhances well-being. She is an advocate for a holistic approach to duty of care, well-being, and resilience within the aid sector (hashtag #bewellservewell). Em believes that being intentional about upholding values of resilience, healing, and care, both for oneself and others, is critical to prevent the abyss from gazing back into us.
