Sergio Montiel

Sergio Montiel is in service of developing leaders, organizations and movements to become better stewards for our future. Sergio was Senior Vice President for Latin America for one of Canada’s top leadership development firms. He managed and lead the LATAM operations, growth and internationalization of the firm in the US, Chile and Mexico. He has been a faculty member and teacher for the Masters of Design in Strategic Foresight at the Ontario College of Arts and Design University, for the Melbourne Business School, and Universidad del Medio Ambiente in Mexico (UMA). Sergio has participated as a speaker at the Iberoamerican Coaching Congress in Argentina and has also collaborated in the facilitation team for the Authentic Leadership in Action Institute (ALIA) in Nova Scotia, Halifax, and facilitated dialogue processes for the Professional Coaching Association of Venezuela, Ryerson University in Toronto, and Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, amongst others. For the last twenty plus years Sergio has volunteered with OraWorldMandala, a non-profit organisation that promotes the study, development, and production of art objects and events with the aim of spreading peace and non-violence on a global level. Projects have taken place in India, Mexico and Italy. Sergio has participated in the areas of networking, facilitation, coaching and the development of funding criteria for this social endeavour, and has also conducted related research in conjunction with Princeton.
