Bart Patterson
Bart Patterson is the Principal at Summit Consulting. He has over twenty years of experience with the Nevada System of Higher Education, including almost 10 years as the longest serving president of Nevada State College during a time of explosive growth while also managing the pandemic. He also has forty years of experience working with nonprofit organizations addressing numerous community issues including education access and equity, poverty, environment, economic development and workforce development. Bart did significant work with Boards, local and state political leaders, and community organizations. He also had a substantial legal career advising public and private organizations in a variety of areas including business litigation, employment law, and contract structure and negotiation. He is a strong proponent of the importance of building a culture of support and positivity to achieve the best results. Bart has three children, all of whom attended school in the Clark County School District, and then went on the college in Southern Nevada and two grandchildren. He is an avid hiker and traveler.
