Jose Feron "Dodong" Cacanando

Dodong is a businessman and a farmer from Bukidnon. While agriculture is the business he uses to provide for his family, his entrepreneurial abilities have allowed him to profit from one of the most challenging businesses he has encountered: farming. He used to work in Makati for Hewlett-Packard as Assistant Country Manager for their Test and Measurement Division until 1998 when he moved his family to Bukidnon, a place where they neither had families nor friends. Today, he owns and operates Moriah Farms, a bio-diversified farm where they grow various livestock and high-value crops, all naturally grown and free from antibiotics and pesticides. From 2002 to 2010, they became the country's biggest lettuce supplier to McDonald's and KFC. Because of his success, several businessmen came to him in 2004, asking him to teach them how he manages their business. He shared with them how he uses the Bible as a business manual while using the plant as a model to understand the process of making a business profitable. This was when he founded Semilya Sa Kinabuhi, a foundation where he also shares the business principles we use to help others become fruitful.
