Dr. Michael H. Corcoran spent 34 years in law enforcement, and began conducting threat assessments when he entered the US Secret Service in 1970. A Ph.D. in Behavioral Science, he specializes in identifying & handling potential violence through threat assessment, determination of potential violence, and criminal profiling. His clients include government agencies, law enforcement, healthcare providers & school districts. He speaks internationally, has co-authored “Violence Assessment & Intervention, The Practitioners Guide,” and is an expert witness on identifying violent individuals. Dr. Corcoran is President of Henley-Putnam University, the only accredited school granting bachelors and masters degrees in Management of Personal Protection, Intelligence Management and Terrorism/Counterterrorism Studies along with Doctorates in Strategic Security.
