Eileen Davidson

Eileen Davidson originated the role of Jabot Cosmetics executive Ashley Abbott in 1982. Davidson was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2003. In 1998, she made daytime television history for portraying five characters at one time on Days of Our Lives, and was honored with a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performances. She previously portrayed Kelly Capwell on the daytime drama Santa Barbara. Her feature film credits include Eternity, Easy Wheels, and the horror film cult favorite House on Sorority Row. She wrote her first novel "Death in Daytime," which debuted in November 2008. Her second novel, "Dial Emmy for Murder," was released in June 2009. Her third novel, "Diva Las Vegas," was released in July 2010. A Southern California native, she lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Vincent Van Patten; her son, Jesse; and two stepsons, Duke and Vinny.
