Merry Jennifer Markham

Dr. Merry Jennifer Markham is associate professor and interim chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Florida (UF). She is associate director for Medical Affairs for the University of Florida Health Cancer Center, and she is a medical oncologist specializing in gynecologic cancers. She is chair of the ASCO Cancer Communications Committee and is the social media editor for the Journal of Clinical Oncology and the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

William Dahut

Dr. Dahut is the Scientific Director for Clinical Research at the National Cancer Institute’s Center for Cancer Research (CCR). In this role, Dr. Dahut oversees and assures the quality of medical care delivered to patients participating in CCR clinical trials. Dr. Dahut is also the Section Chief of the clinical/translational prostate cancer research program, which emphasizes new approaches to the treatment, diagnosis and prognostic evaluation of prostate cancer with the goal to increase the precision in which therapeutic decisions are made for patients with primary and metastatic prostate cancer. In this research, his mission is to improve therapy for men with advanced prostate cancer.
