Mark Staniforth is an Adjunct Professor at La Trobe University and Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He received his M.A. in History from the University of Sydney (1993) and his Ph.D. from Flinders University, Adelaide (1999). Mark is one of leading maritime archaeologists with extensive experience in historical archaeology, maritime archaeology, museum and heritage studies gained during a thirty-year career.
