Nick Brandt

All of Nick Brandt's photographic work relates to the ongoing disappearance of the animal and natural world of East Africa. In the 12 years from 2001-2012, he worked on three photographic essays, charting this disappearing world. The books formed the trilogy, "On This Earth, A Shadow Falls, Across The Ravaged Land." The latest book, "Inherit The Dust" (2016), records the impact of man in places where animals used to roam, but no longer do. Brandt has had solo gallery and museum shows around the world, including New York, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Paris and Los Angeles.
