Ed Meyer

brbrEd Meyer is the track announcer and morning lineodds maker for Belterra Park and Casino, since the refurbished old River Downs into a combination track and slots gambling destination, was reopened in early May 2014. He has worked at Turfway Park, River Downs, and Keeneland. He is an avid handicapper, and has qualified for the NTRA DRF Handicapping Championships and placed four times in the money in the Horse Player World Series in Las Vegas. He has hosted multiple radio shows in the Cincinnati market and was an onair handicapper. The personable rider from the Island of St. Croix died of injuries suffered in a car accident over Memorial Day weekend at the age of 28.
