Elana Gartner has walked two different roads that led her to Four Walls Theater: theatre and social services. In theatre, she is an internationally produced and recognized playwright. She has written Jagged Journey, Runtime Error, Before Lesbians, Daughter, Pilar’s Brother, and Because of Beth, among others. Elana founded the EMG Playwriting Workshop and the International Centre for Women Playwrights 50/50 Applause Awards and has served on the ICWP board for five years. Elana is a member of the Dramatists Guild, writes freelance articles for HowlRound and is currently an MFA candidate at Spalding University. Gina Marie Dropp

|
Gina Marie Dropp is a Chicago based Theater Artist, focused on Playwriting, Directing, and Theater Development. Her BA in Performance Arts is from Young Harris College (2015) where she focused on acting, directing, and projects as The Valentines Cabaret, which she curated and directed to raise funds for theatre students to study abroad and compete as a director at the KCACTF conference. Gina relocated to Chicago to study with The Second City, The Annoyance, and comedy theaters in areas of Improvisation, Sketch Writing, Solo Performance, and Stage management in shows as Under-aged Thinking (The Second City), Gravedigger: The Musical (Lincoln Loft), and The Solo Showcase(The Annoyance). Pravin Wilkins
|
|
Pravin Wilkins is a playwright, poet, and fiction writer from San Diego, California whose works typically deal with race, class struggle and the many intersections between. He began writing plays during his time as an undergraduate student of literature and political science at the University of California, San Diego. There, he received the Eric Bowling Award from the UCSD Department of Theatre & Dance for his one-act play, #takebackgraffitihall. His experience inspired him to pursue a graduate degree in dramatic writing at Carnegie Mellon University. Heather Harvey (she/hers) is a Brooklyn-based writer/director/producer who specializes in nontraditional storytelling for stage, audio, and screen. She is one of the co-founders of Black Revolutionary Theatre Workshop, where she collaborates and raises hell with some of NYC's most powerful Black artists. And when she's not staying TF inside, she's walking the cutest dog this side of the Hudson River.

Janan Ashton

Janan Ashton is a 30 year old actress/spoken word artist from Philadelphia,PA. Ms. Ashton began performing and studying acting at the tender age of 4, beginning At The Freedom Theatre. Over the past 26 years, she's been in numerous plays, including the critically acclaimed Marcus, or the Secret of Sweet by Tarrell Alvin McCraney and Ntozake Shange's "For Colored Girls..." as Lady in Red. Ms. Ashton has had a great number of on-screen opportunities as well, being featured in many commercials and even an episode of Forensic Files.
