In the Webster Dictionary, a champion is defined as a warrior or fighter, a militant advocate or defender, and one that battles for another’s rights or honor. In this episiode we will discuss how athletes have been showing themselves as champions through there personal sacriice, selflessness, and brotherhood for the greater good of humanity on and off the field. This show will have a special guest who has proven to be a great Champion, Everson Walls, and discuss his selfless act of kidney donation to his fellow Cowboy Team Mate Ron Springs and the book he has written about it.

Everson Walls

His eight years with the Cowboys is filled with accolades and accomplishments. In his rookie year, he broke the single season record with 11 interceptions. He was named to the Pro Bowl team in 1981, 1982, 1983 and 1985. In 1981, 1982 and 1985 he led the NFL in interceptions. In 1986, he was the youngest player named to the Cowboys 25th Year Anniversary Team, and in 1987 he was named Cowboy’s Man of the Year. In 1990, Walls continued his career with the New York Giants, where he was the leading pass defender with six interceptions on the Giants’ Super Bowl Team. In 1992, he signed and started with the Cleveland Browns.
