Smith (Nora Hanan) makes her first appearance on Soap Central Live to talk about all things Llanview and her new web series, Fumbling thru the Pieces. She also discusses her recent Dankies wins and her work on the web soap Venice, which earned her an Indie Soaps Award. Hillary also tackles the $250 Soap Pyramid for her favorite charity, the Willie-Coppee Fund.

Hillary B. Smith

Hillary B. Smith originated the role of Nora Hanen in September 1992. She received the Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actress in 1994. The youngest of four girls, Hillary was raised in Palm Beach, FL. She returned to Massachusetts at 14 to attend boarding school. She began working with a geneticist at the New England Medical Center, creating an interest in the field. She attended Sarah Lawrence College because it had a Masters program in genetics as well as theater. It wasn't long before she turned her attention from gene screening to screen-testing.
