Bill Lougheed

Bill Lougheed graduated in 1966 with honours from the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Denver. He was then recruited for the management trainee development program of Sheraton Corporation in Chicago. In 1969 he returned to Canada as Supervisor of Staff Training with Canadian Pacific Hotels, where he subsequently became Director of Personnel. He joined Ryerson University in 1974 and taught Human Resources Management at the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. He Chaired the School from 1981 to 1986.
