On this episode we will discuss infertility, an area in which Chinese medicine can make a tremendous contribution for both men and women’s health. Recent studies have shown that Chinese herbal medicine is twice as effective as western medicine in promoting pregnancy for women. We will discuss Chinese medicine’s perspective on the leading causes of infertility for both men and women, as well as why Chinese medicine is shown to be more effective than western medicine. Boyd Bailey, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.(NCCAOM)
|
|
Boyd Bailey, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.(NCCAOM) received his Masters
degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1997 from the Northwest
Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (now Bastyr University)
in Seattle, WA. Boyd, currently in private practice, has treated
patients with many different health conditions in a variety of
clinical settings. Extensively and eclectically trained in Traditional
Chinese Medicine, Japanese, and Korean acupuncture traditions, Boyd is
also a certified Toyohari® practitioner and proficient in Shonishin
pediatric acupuncture. Since 2009, Boyd has served as the acupuncture
consultant for WakeForest Baptist Health’s Center for Integrative
Medicine.
