Colonel Mosher deployed to Afghanistan in 2003-04, earned two bronze stars for Valor, then redeployed to find myself immediately divorced, a single father of a 5 and 7 year old, broke, homeless and left with very few choices…desperate really…I was broken and wanted only to return to combat where things made sense to me.
