Mark "Muds" Grant

Born and raised in the out skirts of Chicago in Aurora, Il. Was the 1st-round draft pick from the San Francisco Giants in 1981 as a pitcher. Played up through 10 years in the Majors. From there, he entered into the broadcast booth , starting with the San Diego Padres in 1997, and continues to this date. He has many sides in announcing the game in his ability of interjecting the strategies of the the team in game situations, alone with the mind set from the pitchers perspective. But, his most noteworthy trait is his zaniness and comic relief in the booth. A breath of fresh air from your normal broadcasts.
