Live Bet Sunday

Sunday 3 PM-11PM EST

Live In-game betting is the fastest growing and most immersive experience for bettors. Jonathan Von Tobel, Femi Abebefe, Ben Wilson and Danny Burke track the fast and furious action to find the best value for bettors as the games unfold.

Femi Abebefe hosts a number of our shows across platforms. Femi joined The Sports Betting network coming from KOMO TV in Seattle after spending his first seven and a half years in sports media as a local sports anchor. Femi worked in three different markets in the Pacific Northwest, most recently in Seattle, Wash., as a weekend sports anchor. Growing up as a sports junkie, it wasn't until a March Madness trip to Reno where Abebefe began to pay attention to the betting markets and how they're affected on a day-to-day basis in the world of sports. From Femi: "I'm beyond thrilled to join a respected sports betting network like VSiN, sports betting media has been a growing platform since legalization in 2018 and I can't wait to learn and grow more into the space at one of the best companies around."

Burke has hosted nearly every VSiN show on our air at on time or another. He hosts VSiN's Bet On, Chicago, which can be heard from 7-9 p.m. Saturdays on WLS 890 AM in Chicago. Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago naturally led him to become a die-hard sports fan. Through the ups and downs of being a Chicago sports fan, he grew to love every aspect it - including the betting side. So with the affinity of that combination it was an easy decision on what he wanted to do for a living: talk about sports. That led him to attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he majored in sports broadcasting. Early Sports Reporting Roles: From working behind the scenes producing live content, covering the teams in the local paper and doing play-by-play on radio and TV, he experienced just about every angle of the industry. He then got a job at the local ESPN affiliate radio station in Lincoln. He began as a studio host for the Lincoln Saltdogs, which evolved into a co-host / producer gig for the afternoon drive show, "Hail Varsity Radio." He worked there for three years until he made his first trip out to Las Vegas. It was during that first trip to Sin City, where he knew instantly that he wanted to move out to talk about sports gambling for a living. He made the trek in 2019, and has been with VSiN ever since. Favorite Team: Cubs Favorite Movies: Dazed and Confused, Casino, Interstellar, The Big Short, Django Unchained, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Favorite TV Shows: Breaking Bad, The Office, Ozarks, Entourage Favorite Bands / Artists: The Beatles, Led Zepplin, Bob Seger, Mac Miller, Kid Cudi, Biggie Smalls, J Cole My Worst Betting Beat: It’s a tie between the Steelers blowing a 16-point lead in the second half, at home, against the Chargers in 2018. A Las Vegas native who started his career as a board op for KWWN/ESPN Las Vegas in 2013, Von Tobel became producer for ESPN’s afternoon drive program “Cofield & Company” while doubling as a host for the station’s UNLV football and basketball coverage. In February 2017, he joined VSiN as its first on-air producer. Jonathan’s odds and ends ... Favorite movies: The Departed, Troy, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Favorite actress: Rosario Dawson Favorite TV show: Rick & Morty Favorite musical acts: ‘90s Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Chevelle The sports broadcasters I most admire are Scott Van Pelt, Ryen Russillo and Colin Cowherd. ESPN heavy, I know, but I entered radio after listening to these shows for years. SVP and Russillo showed me I could come back to hip-hop songs and host a show while making it entertaining and relatable. Cowherd made me realize it’s not wrong to have a wrong opinion, but it’s wrong to have no opinion. My favorite teams are the Indianapolis Colts, L.A. Angels and UNLV. The top pro athlete is LeBron James or Mike Trout. My worst betting beats were actually two props in Super Bowl 47 between the Ravens and the 49ers (also just the second Super Bowl I could legally bet on). Delanie Walker was 10/1 to catch the first 49ers pass. He was indeed the first target for Colin Kaepernick but dropped the pass as he went out of bounds. I also held the Field goal-First Score prop in that game. The Ravens were stopped on a third down in 49ers territory but a defensive holding call extended the drive. Anquan Boldin pulled in a touchdown the next play. My best and biggest bet was the New York Giants in Super Bowl 46. On my first day in Vegas, I don’t remember since I was 2 years old. On my first day as a 21-year-old I won $200 playing blackjack at The M Resort.
