“Healthcare and other Washington Updates” – Special Encore Presentation!
December 24, 2009
Hosted by Kevin O'Neill
Join us for this week’s Capital Thinking with Kevin O’Neill as we continue the discussion on healthcare reform with the newest updates, learning about a broadband proposal which could affect the lives of millions of Americans, and peeking into a day of the life of a fashion law attorney. First up, health care policy attorney John Jonas updates us on the latest in the ongoing health care reform debate. Then, we’re joined by Brooke Mastin, Vice President of Finance of Megapath, the leading provider of managed IP communications services in North America. Brooke will explain a proposal for broadband services in America and why Megapath is the company for the job. And finally, we’ll hear from Staci Riordan, a fashion law attorney at Fox Rothschild and her perspective on this specialized practice.

Capital Thinking is your weekly glimpse of the intersection between politics, policy, the law, and the world of business. Capital Thinking will go beyond the typical talking head babble of traditional media to give a better understanding of what’s going on in Washington and what it means for your business and your family. Each week, we will feature a mix of influential guests - policymakers, lawyers and business leaders - who will give you an in-depth and balanced look at issues of interest in Washington, the legal arena and the business world. This is a high-energy hour of radio that will give you actionable intelligence for use as a business leader and citizen. Capital Thinking is broadcast live every Thursday at 9 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Business Network.
