Episode Description

Everyone wants to be appreciated. Pretty basic stuff, right? Yet why are we having so much depression and anxiety and stress? Why are nearly 84% of workers not engaged. Why is our world being divided into us vs them? There are three things that can make a major difference in someone's personal and professional life. They are "I see you. I hear you. You matter." Eight words that can change our life, our organization and the world. Why is this so hard? I wish I had the answer. I don’t, however my guest Sarah McVanel, recognition expert, will share with us how we can rediscover our own greatness, and recognize the greatness in others.

Life Altering Events

Archives Available on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel

Everyone has those AHA moments or events that change our lives for better or worse. These life altering events occur in every aspect of our professional, personal, and in the lives of our family. Try as we may, it is impossible to completely separate the events in our personal life from our professional life. Believe me, I tried and failed miserably. Life altering events present us with opportunities to seize the moment and make difference in our own life, the lives of our loved one, friends and business associates. They also can be a fork in the road where we can fall apart or pick up the pieces and start moving forward toward better times and better people. It is never too late to have the life you want and deserve. Let’s talk about it.

Frank Zaccari

A native of western New York, Frank Zaccari served as a military medic in the U.S. Air Force before spending over 20 years in the high-tech industry. His experience included everything from holding senior positions with Fortune 50 organizations to turning around small and mid-size companies. His path has helped him learn a great deal about business, finance, organizational development, people, and success.

After becoming a single, custodial parent, Frank left the high tech industry in order to be home to raise his children. He created, managed and sold one of the most profitable insurance agencies in Northern California. Frank has written and published five books based on life altering events. He teaches a program for aspiring entrepreneurs at Arizona State University, is an accomplished speaker, a mentor and judge for the University of California Entrepreneurship Academy and a mentor for the Sacramento Veterans Treatment Court.

After 35 years as a successful corporate executive, author, and entrepreneur, Frank is now leveraging his knowledge and experience to help others on their journey to find solutions to pressing personal and professional challenges, and take their organizations and their lives to heights they never imagined.
