Episode Description

The Enneagram Prison Project, founded by my guest, Susan Olesek seeks to help incarcerated individuals, as well as those imprisoned by the mechanisms of their own minds, understand why we do what we do using the Enneagram to inspire transformation on both sides of the bars through self-awareness, self-regulation and self-compassion. As George Gurdjieff said, and as is true with the program, "it is not just difficult to do this work by ourselves, it is impossible." This program has tremendous benefit, not only in minimizing violence in prisons around the world, but helping us all, no matter the side of the bars we are on, see what is right about us. Also joining as my guest, is Dustin Baldwin discussing his experience with the program from his time on the inside, what he has learned about himself, and how he does the work now as an ambassador. Please join us, and at 40 after the hour, you may call in live with any questions you may have, 1-888-346-9141. Hope you can be there, you don't want to miss this episode!

The Traveling Enneagram

Thursday at 12 PM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel

Ever wanted to know what makes you, YOU? Why you think and feel the way you do, and more important what the motivation for your behavior is? And when you know this about yourself, what do you DO with the information? Learning about your Enneagram type helps answer these questions and so much more, including the practical application from the way we speak, how we navigate conflict, give and receive feedback, make decisions... the list goes on! When we know this about ourselves, we can show up as the best version of ourselves possible by starting the inner work. It's this work that helps us be the best partner, parent, leader- the best person we can be, in every aspect of our lives. As an Enneagram Practitioner, I teach this every day of my own life. Oh, and I happen to live full-time in a camper and really love teaching people what that hashtag CamperLife is all about. Join me on this journey to presence, and some really good camping tips!

First and foremost, I am a dog mom to 4, and 2 on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, wife to a crazy but awesome counterphobic type 6...love you, Justin, and a lover of everything outdoors. I'm also a recovering people-pleaser who quit the corporate lifestyle a few years ago to live this one seemingly too short life I have to the absolute fullest. In doing so, I have also lived full-time in a camper, traveling the U.S. I also got to fall full-time into my life's passion- teaching the Enneagram and all of the wonderful applications that opens up in your life once you understand yourself a little more. From personal development to growth as a couple to professional development as a leader- team growth too, even to working with incarcerated individuals in the Enneagram Prison Project - my goal is simple. Help people like you understand the motivation for your behavior (from our superpowers to our liabilities and everything in between), discover ways together to grow and challenge old stories, and become the best version of us possible. And I get to do all of this from less than 400 square feet of space, living my own life to the absolute fullest.
