Millennials . . . Your Customer Now and in the Future
November 16, 2022
Hosted by Frank Helring
Well the day has finally arrived. I have been hinting at this really since I began this journey of engaging the world of Small Business. We, the Fuddie Duggies (Now), The Seniors, The Baby Boomers, 76 million births, Hippie Era, Rock Concerts, Haight-Ashbury, Flower Power, Vietnam Era generation is fastly exiting and the advent of a larger generation, The Millennials, has arrived! There are marked differences between these two generations and for one, Millennials are better educated. While this is very positive, the fact that they graduate college and end up back in their parents house, for a longer period of time. In conjunction with this, they are waiting longer to enter into marriage and raising a family. What does this all boil down to you ask? The Baby Boomers will be gone in the coming years, 20 at most. They make up the larger population of Small Business owners and many are still at the helm of those business and largely due to the recent pandemic because their exit strategies or even future retirement plans have been turned upside down at best. The question now becomes . . . Who, is going to fill these large shoes of the Small Business owners after they are gone? We will explore this and many other aspects today with my guest who is currently seeking the answers to this up and coming generation known as Millennials!

BizZne$$ BuzZ is all about your business. Small business is in trouble and they have been as far back as the “rocking” that occurred in 2008. The 14.2 percent loss of many brick and mortar small businesses happened by the year 2015 (source, NFIB 2015 Report). Already being squeezed by Internet predators, like Amazon, E-Bay, etc. They are literally sucking the life out of small businesses by customer and profit “siphoning.” B2B Networking Groups and social media disappointments abound.
Small business needs a “counter” to these E-commerce tsunamis and that mechanism is the power of UNITY, RELATIONSHIP and the Law of RECIPROCITY. This is an EDGE that is a non-compete. The “perfect storm” of shut down/customer distancing, lack of capital and uncertainty are the devastating effects of COVID19 disruption.
Our mission is to provide your business the boost that it needs to recapture your personal visions, rejuvenate your operations and to bring about a platform that represents your interests.
