At 14, Kelly started volunteering at a children's oncology ward, supporting families who had a child with cancer. Jump ahead two decades, and Kelly was on the other side of the ward. Now HER son had a rare paediatric cancer. Kelly's book, "When Lightning Strikes Your Child", is a mother's memoir. It's a story that will be the friend, the hope, and the outcome parents and families long for as they face their darkest days.
