he Ayurvedic approach to whole beThe Beauty of AYURVEDA Ayur means LIFE and Veda means KNOWLEDGE. Think LIFE alignment with the TRUTH of who you REALLY are. There is a natural ebb and flow within the natural world, including within your own body and mind. Vata, Pitta and Kapha are the energies that make up our WHOLE BEING and understanding these energies, we can tune into the natural rhythms of the world, and make informed choices to help guide life into healthful, harmonious directions. I like to share about Ayurveda in easy accessible ways to help you live a healthier, more balanced and beautiful life. I ling wellness is the idea that like increases like and that opposites balance. When any one of the doshas is aggravated, we can generally return to balance by reducing the influence of that dosha’s qualities, while favoring opposite qualities. In this episode will discuss the beauty of Ayurveda and how it can be helpful to you! I'd love to hear from you -call in with questions.

Christine Dorocki

I am Christine, I am a devoted student, yogini and Ayurvedic health practitioner. I’ve also been in the beauty industry for over 30 years and I do love beauty treatments! My yoga journey started when I had physical injuries and emotional healing to do. Many of my first classes I left crying, but luckily my teachers assured me this was normal, things were just breaking open, so I stuck with it. As my body became stronger and healthier, I soon discovered that my yoga mat was a place to find a sense of contentment, self awareness and mind body connection. I’m a big believer that our bodies are always talking to us and that the universe is as well. Yoga and Ayurveda can make you feel better physically, spiritually and mentally. When I first started teaching yoga it was to specialized populations - autism, cancer and eating disorders- this taught me patience, compassion and that are needs are different but most importantly that we are all love at our core. I had to learn unconditional love for myself, that regardless of my mistakes, my shame, my job, how I look etc that I can be loved, that at my core I’m love and that vulnerability is a strength not weakness. Yoga and Ayurveda are not a "one size fits all" practice, every person is on a different path. I try to offer everyone the opportunity to take that path in their own way at their own pace, to modify when needed and check in how they feel moment to moment- honoring their own inner wisdom.
