Episode Description

Seven times out of ten athletes are remembered more for their off the field antics than their on the field heroics, if that. While you may have at the most 10 notable players on offense and defense, a team is normally comprised of another fifty-six other team mates, whose lifetime dream was to be in the position that they are in now, but who crave greater recognition. For most the NFL is a launching pad for their other endeavors, or sometimes the beginning to the end. How do those players seek and find that inner satisfaction that their life long dreams may not really be providing. What about their lives off the field with family, community and peers motivates them to pursue their inner talents and abilities? On today’s show we will have the “Breakthrough Specialist” and Co-Author of Chicken Soup for the African American Soul, Lisa Nichols on to spread her knowledge of what the “Secret” is to inner peace, success, and motivation.

“Success Ends Where Satisfaction Begins, So NEVER BE SATISFIED!”

The show will focus upon the NFL and the game, but will dig deeper into what happens in the locker room, in the mind of the player, when they are away from the field, and after the game ends…what’s next? This will not be football 101!

We’ll do in-depth interviews with current players and past greats, and “where are they now” segments, focus upon discussions on “the hot topics” within “the game” at the moment, and we’ll take your live questions. We will not shy away from the tough questions!

We’ll also focus upon positive messages to kids and parents to never be satisfied!
