Coach Al Gross

Coach Al Gross

Coach Al Gross is a National Football League veteran and current owner of Hitman Sports Training in Phoenix, Arizona. Over the last twenty five years coach has been directly involved with thousands of athletes, coaches and parents with his Hitman Sports Training football camps and training programs. Coach Al is from Stockton, California, where he was named All Northern California in both basketball and football. A two sport athlete beginning at the Pop Warner level at age ten, Coach Al benefitted from mentors, coaches and volunteers on his way to the NFL. His athleticism and desire landed him a football scholarship to the University of Arizona and then he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL after receiving 1st Team All Pacific 10 conference and 3rd Team All American honors. Following his requested release from the Cowboys, Coach Al found a home with the Cleveland Browns where he was a starter and one of the original members of the world famous Dawg Pound Defense. Since his retirement from the NFL, Coach Al has dedicated himself to youth and high school sports where he has coached at the high school level and helped train thousands. Coach Al has also assisted in raising funds for numerous youth sports groups dating back to his time with the Cleveland Browns. His list of friends in coaching and contacts in football are vast and it is his goal to inject as much knowledge into youth and high school football as possible with his website and radio broadcast.
