Listening to Yourself: Honoring the Wisdom of the Body and Emotions
October 2, 2015
Hosted by Hemda Mizrahi
Being in touch with your body doesn’t mean you have to be a great athlete or have a lot of mobility. It requires you to slow down and tune into what your body needs, and what it’s telling you. Many of us are cerebral to the extent that we lose touch with our senses and over rely on the act of thinking to gather information and make decisions. Trusting ourselves involves consciously connecting with and acknowledging the validity of emotions and the language of the body. This practice enables you to be more self-directed and proactive in making day-to-day choices. Listen in to gain proven techniques for tapping into the wisdom of the body and emotions. These techniques are effective regardless of age, degree of mobility, and the level of demands you’re facing at work or personally. They’ll be especially helpful if you’re wondering how you’ll find the time to include them in your busy lifestyle!
