June 17, 2016
Hosted by Hemda Mizrahi
This is the second in a three-episode series that features surrogacy as a route to parenting. In this episode, you’ll hear the stories of both an intended parent turned mother, and a former surrogate who, post delivery, discovered yet another calling in facilitating the surrogacy journeys of others. You’ll benefit from responses to commonly asked questions as they share the decision-making steps that led them to choose both the option of surrogacy, and an agency that would best support their aspirations. We’ll talk about the realities they experienced, from the initial intended parent-carrier conversation and face-to-face meeting, to pregnancy, delivery, and beyond. In support of your exploration, you’ll learn about the sensitive issues, stressors, and unanticipated challenges they encountered at various junctures of the process.
