Episode Description

As an entrepreneur, how can you prepare for your transition to motherhood? Maternal health consultant, business owner, and parent Arianna Taboada will share how she collaborates with expecting entrepreneurs to plan for parental leave and post partum supports. She’ll provide pointers on determining your “new normal” as it relates to your productivity, self-expectations, and finding a flow again. Arianna will discuss how transferability of skills from business to parenting can help women to find their element as mothers. She’ll also address the relatively unspoken topic of how the process of grieving is inherent to becoming a mom given that losses like independence and identity accompany the gains. You’ll receive guidance that will better equip you to deal with the uncertainties and vulnerabilities of this profound life change.
